I’m a firm believer in new, innovative ideas. Now, you can collect pledges for Easter Seals kids online, using this Web site. Tax receipts for all online pledges are e-mailed right away, and over $1 more of every donation will go to the kids with physical disabilities in our communities.

Spring into step at the Easter Seals Run/Walkathon

Join us on Sunday May 25th before 8:30 a.m. at the Upper Canada Mall for the 32nd annual Easter Seals Run/Walkathon in support of Ontario’s children and youth with physical disabilities.

Families rely on Easter Seals to help purchase expensive equipment needed for mobility and communication, send kids to camp and other recreational programs, and provide access to information and resources.

At the core of Easter Seals is a common passion for caring, shared by its staff and thousands of volunteers, and by those who support its mission. This heart-felt desire to serve children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities and their families, is what Easter Seals is all about.

Founded by local hero and community leader Joe Persechini, the Easter Seals Run/Walkathon has raised over $3.2 million. All proceeds help give Easter Seals kids living with a physical disability in Ontario a chance at independence, acceptance and achievement.

Come to the Charity Midway from May 10th to May12th at the Upper Canada Mall with rides, games, food and fun. What better way to launch the Easter Seals Run/Walkathon.

New for 2008, for serious runners! Our run will be accredited by the Ontario Track & Field Association as a Class A 10km Race.

Join your local heroes, community leaders, class-mates, friends, family and neighbours at the largest Easter Seals fundraising event in York Region!
