Do I have to register to participate?
A: No. However, we ask that all participants raise a minimum of $20 per child/ $50 per adult to participate.

How do I hand in my pledges?
A: Bring all of your pledges and pledge forms with you on Run/Walkathon day, and hand them in at the Registration Area, just inside the east entrance to Upper Canada Mall.

How do I get late pledge money to Easter Seals?
A: We encourage everybody to hand in all of their pledge money on Run/Walkathon day. However, any pledges that are collected after the event can be sent directly to The Easter Seals Run/Walkathon, c/o Easter Seals Ontario PO Box 34, Aurora ON, L4G 2H1. Please don’t send cash through the mail - instead, write a personal cheque in place of cash pledges.

Do I have to collect online pledges?
A: No. Collecting pledges online is a new easy, fast, and safe way to collect and track your pledges through the web without using the paper pledge forms. Both ways of collecting pledges support Easter Seals kids in the same way! Why not try fundraising using both methods this year and see which one you like better.

Can I take my dog on the route?
A: Yes, pets are welcome at the Run/Walkathon. Please keep all pets on a leash, and remember that there will be lots of young children and crowds at the event.

If I bring my young kids, do they have to raise money too?
A: All pledges and donations handed in at the Run/Walkathon go directly to Easter Seals. We don’t expect very young children to raise the minimum, but why not try collecting pledges together as a family?

Where can I park my car?
A: There’s lots of parking at Upper Canada Mall, both on the north side of the mall, as well at the southwest entrance off Davis Drive (just west of Yonge St.)

What happens if the weather is bad on Run/Walkathon day?
A: The Easter Seals Run/Walkathon takes place rain or shine. If you don’t want to participate because of bad weather, you can still come by the Registration Area between 7:00 - 8:30 am on event day to hand in your pledges. You can also mail in your pledges after the event, to The Easter Seals Run/Walkathon, c/o Easter Seals Ontario PO Box 34, Aurora ON, L4G 2H1. .
